CWL 815 : Theory and the Premodern Text

Prerequisites: CWL 800.
Description: Connections and intersections between modern theory and premodern literary theory and practices, including comparative theories of authorship, interpretation and audience; premodern foundations of postmodern theory; the interventions of postcolonial medieval criticism in postcolonial theory; and medievalism in the postmodern imagination.
