COMM 449 : The Rhetoric of Criminality and Punishment

Prerequisites: COMM 150 and ENG 214 or equivalents; enrollment priority to upper division COMM/CJ majors.
Description: Contemporary rhetoric of violence and hate, including social discourses of crime and punishment, war and peace, and hatred related to race, sex, gender, sexuality, and class.
