| Description: | Examination of post-colonial theories, including notions of modernity, nationalism, post-nationalism, hybridity, subalternity, as well as the politics of differences, and how they can be applied to critical thinking in film. Attention is paid to both Hollywood cinema and third world cinema. (AB/NC grading only.) |
