S W 862 : Child Welfare Policy

Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Analysis of major issues in the provision of public and publicly funded child welfare services. Examination of preventive, supportive, and substitute programs for children/families; changing urban family roles, cultural-racial-class factors, effective development, and children's rights. (Plus-minus letter grade only.)
