RPT 365 : White Water Raft Guiding

Prerequisites: RPT 160 or previous white water experience; ability to swim 100 yards and tread water for 5 minutes; CPR and First Aid.
Description: Skills of white water raft guiding. River hydraulics, water reading, raft maneuvering, equipment care and maintenance, environmental ethics, safety and emergency procedures, trip planning and organization. Classwork, 1 unit; laboratory, 2 units. Extra fee required. (CR/NC grading only.)
