RRS 480 : Youth Culture, Race and Resistance

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Surveys how young people of color use popular culture to challenge social inequalities based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, class and nationality. Students will gain theoretical tools to analyze youth culture and its relationship to social change. [Formerly ETHS 480.]
