RRS 380 : Coloring Queer: Imagining Communities

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Interdisciplinary examination of the experience of queers of color in the U.S. through anthropology, sociology, history, literature, and cultural studies. Specific focus on racism, homophobia, transphobia, and intersectionality. This course is offered as RRS 380 [formerly ETHS 380] and SXS 380. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix. [GE]
