AA S 540 : South Asians in the United States

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: History of South Asian immigration to the U.S., and how South Asian Americans negotiate ethnic belonging and national citizenship. Topics include racialization, class divides, gender, inequalities, queer politics, and youth culture. (Formerly AAS 340)
