HIST 840 : Readings in Southeast Asian History

Prerequisites: Graduate standing in history or consent of instructor.
Description: Major topics and readings in Southeast Asian history, including differences among the eleven modern nations within the region; the influence of foreign powers on Southeast Asian societies; the historical role of Southeast Asia in international economic, political, and cultural exchange.
