PSY 475 : Psychology of Policing

Prerequisites: PSY 200 or CJ 300 and upper division standing, or consent of instructor. Priority enrollment given to upper division psychology and criminal justice majors.
Description: Psychological study of organizational processes and management of police agencies. Topics include causes and effects of psychological factors affecting police, and implications of military and community-service models of police management on police selection, stress, training, organization development, technology.
