PSY 436 : The Development of Femaleness and Maleness

Prerequisites: PSY 371, upper division standing, or consent of instructor.
Description: Integration of biological, psychological, social, and cultural knowledge toward an understanding of the development of maleness and femaleness. A critical look at theories of sex-typing and sex differences in behavior, with attention to sex-role stereotypes and social issues. This course is offered as PSY 436 and SXS 436. Students may not repeat the course under an alternate prefix.
