GEOG 621 : Geographic Information Systems for Environmental Analysis

Prerequisites: GEOG 603 or equivalent.
Description: GIS methods applied to environmental analysis, including raster surface display methods, spatial analysis of categorical and continuous surfaces, spatial statistics and the generation of statistical surfaces from environmental samples and contour data. Paired with GEOG 721. Students who have taken GEOG 721 may not take GEOG 621 for credit. Classwork, 2 units; laboratory, 2 units. Extra fee required.
