ECON 505 : Public Economics

Prerequisites: ECON 101 and ECON 102 [formerly ECON 100] or equivalents, and ECON 301.
Description: Economic analysis of the public sector and its impact on the allocation of resources and distribution of income. Emphasis on the economics of government spending, taxation, and debt management. Paired with ECON 805. Students who have completed ECON 805 may not take ECON 505 for credit.
