BIOL 430 : Medical Microbiology

Prerequisites: BIOL 401 and 402 with minimum grade of C-; consent of instructor. Preference to graduating seniors requiring this course.
Description: Intended for biology majors. Principles of infection and immunity of bacterial, mycotic, and viral diseases; isolation and identification of selected groups of medically important microorganisms. Classwork, 3 units; laboratory, 2 units. Extra fee required.
