METR 850 : Physics of the Atmosphere-Ocean Interface

Prerequisites: graduate or senior standing.
Description: Interactions between the ocean and atmosphere; exchange of heat, moisture, and momentum at different geographical locations and times. Impact of ocean-atmosphere interactions on climate. Classwork, 2 units; laboratory and fieldwork, 1 unit.
