A semester-long integrated reading-writing course that meets ENG 114 learning outcomes, offering opportunities to write approximately 8,000 words. Successful completion with
grade of C- or better meets the university's first-year composition requirement. Students who receive NC in ENG 106 must take and successfully complete ENG 114 to meet the university's first-year composition requirement. Students who do not successfully complete 106 or 114 within one year from the time of
admission will be subject to disenrollment from the university. Class work, 3 units; laboratory, 1 unit.
