GEOL 115 : Earth and Life Through Time

Prerequisites: GEOL 110.
Description: History of the earth; origin of the continents, oceans, and atmosphere; origin and evolution of life; introduction to major invertebrate and vertebrate fossils; methods and concepts used to decipher the geologic record. Classwork, 3 units; laboratory and fieldwork, 1 unit. Extra fee required.
