BIOL 863 : Marine Symbioses

Prerequisites: Graduate status or consent of instructor.
Description: Many marine organisms are mutualistic symbioses between two different species that both benefit from the association; e.g., coral reefs, bioluminescent fish, hydrothermal vent clams, etc. The similarities and differences in form and function of these associations are studied.
