GEOL 302 : The Violent Earth

Prerequisites: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: The catastrophic geological agents that modify the environment. Significance of processes such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in the development of our planet. Concept of time in evaluating the magnitude of these violent events. Designed for non-science majors. [GE]
