ART 501 : History of Prints

Prerequisites: ART 202 or ART 203.
Description: Evolution and development of Western printmaking from the late 14th century until the present. Consideration of the varied functions of prints ranging from propaganda to personal expression. Exploration of the connections of prints to their political, social, and cultural contexts.
