CINE 325 : Focus on Woody Allen

Prerequisites: upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Study in-depth of America's preeminent actor-director. His origins as standup comic and writer; his "clown" persona, its comic and ideological appeal, and its relationship to earlier examples; his development as director with a coherent body of themes and stylistic strategies.
