CINE 325 : Focus on Sexuality and Gender in the Cinema

Prerequisites: upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Study of how sexuality and gender are constructed in both dominant and minority media; formal, genre, ideological, and feminist analysis of selected examples from different eras; the social role of art and entertainment. CR/NC grading only. [GE]
