I R 305 : Foreign Students at SFSU: Problems of International Understanding

Prerequisites: TOEFL score of 560 or above and junior standing.
Description: An orientation for foreign students to the academic and social milieu of SFSU. Focuses on nationally-connected sources of misunderstanding. Emphasizes explanations of culturally-conditioned academic practices. Provides instruction in gaining academic success in a practicum setting.
