S S 343 : Women and Work

Prerequisites: upper division standing or consent of instructor.
Description: Position and roles of women in the productive activities of society--paid and unpaid. Patterns of household and work place employment, discrimination in pay and working conditions, relevant laws, explanations for the evolution of patterns. (Also offered as ANTH and LABR 343.)
