Description |
This project seismically upgraded the campus’ 30-year-old life sciences building, and corrected health, safety and ADA deficiencies throughout the building (including asbestos abatement).

Scope of work |
In addition to these building upgrades, other significant improvements were made as part of this project including: the heating and ventilation system was upgraded to improve heat delivery and temperature control; an addition was constructed that nearly doubled the size of the 8th floor greenhouse; the animal care facility was completely renovated; all environmental chambers in the building were refurbished; and teaching and research labs were remodeled and refurbished. |
