Capital Planning, Design and Construction

Capital Planning, Design and Construction manages programming, planning, architecture, engineering, and construction of new and remodeled buildings and landscapes that support the campus community.

CPDCs team of architects, design and sustainability professionals, space analysts, construction project managers, construction inspectors, and cost control and contract specialists represent the interests of the campus, working with the university community, the CSU Office of the Chancellor, and state and local agencies to coordinate and manage the development of capital projects and public-private partnerships.

CPDC is a division of University Enterprises, a cabinet area focused on creating the spaces and opportunities that support the university’s mission.

 

 

 

Stonestown Planning Update

Brookfield Properties, the owners of Stonestown, is planning a major redevelopment of the property, which will include housing, retail, public spaces and new transit connections, streets and paths of travel. To learn more about the Stonestown Development Project, please visit https://neighborland.com/stonestown . The property owners have released a Preliminary Project Assessment (PPA). Staff from Capital Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC) will compile campus feedback on the PPA and submit it to the City & County of San Francisco.
