Capital Planning, Design & Construction
The Office of Capital Planning, Design & Construction (CPDC) oversees campus physical planning, design and construction activities in accordance with CSU policies and procedures. The department administers the Major and Minor Capital Outlay Programs for the University.
Capital Planning is responsible for implementing the Campus Master Plan through the Capital Improvement Program. This unit interfaces with the Office of the Chancellor, state and local agencies, and works with the university community to coordinate and manage the development of major and minor capital outlay projects.
Design & Construction is responsible for managing capital outlay projects for the campus and provides construction management and contracts administration services. It is also mandated to enforce building, life-safety, and accessibility codes for all campus projects and administers the campus Building Permit Program.
