The minor requires a minimum of 23 units in biology, of which at least one-half must be upper division units.

All courses in the minor must be completed with a letter grade (CR is not acceptable).

At least one course must be selected, with advisement, from the following areas:

• Ecology (including field work)
• Genetics or Evolution
• Physiology
