The AV Center has a complete technical facility responsible for maintaining and servicing all AT equipment. Included in its activities are the coordination, design, and fabrication of specialized hardware and systems. In addition, this division is responsible for the planning and installing new classroom technology for the large screen display of video and computer images. To this end we provide consultation and technical support for classroom facilities if prior arrangements are made.
Any department that is contemplating the purchase and installation of AV equipment in classrooms or laboratories is urged to consult with the coordinator for assistance on such issues as technical compatibility, costs, and hardware specifications.
