In this program Lillian Ngoyi, Helen Josephs, Dora Tomana and others recall the battles by anti-apartheid organizations in the 1950s to end the hated pass system. These " womens campaigns " of non-violent civil disobedience were crushed in the 1960 Sharpeville Massacre, but as these women emphasize, the struggle continued.
