This series presents the ongoing struggle for equal rights for gays and lesbians, from the 1960s through the 1990s. This fourth video studies the lives of young gay people in Generation Q, including students at the EAGLE Center, a gay alternative high sc hool in Los Angeles; members of Albuquerque ’s Under 21 lesbian and gay youth group, and Massachusetts student activists, who lobbied to outlaw discrimination against gay students.
