This series presents the ongoing struggle for equal rights for gays and lesbians, from the 1960s through the 1990s. This third program focuses on discrimination in the military, including the U.S. Navy ’s 1980 attempt to discharge 24 women sailors accused of being lesbians, and Clinton ’s " Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell " policy.
