This unusual documentary comedy/thriller begins as astronomer Cliff Stoll, on his first day working on the mainframes at the Lawrence Berkeley Labs, starts tracing down an accounting discrepancy of 75¢. He finds a user with no account number - and a n international spy ring. Stoll and other participants re-create their actions for this program as they track down the hacker, who used computer networks to steal military secrets. Written and directed by Robin Bates; narrated by Stoll.
