Author and sociologist Terry Williams gave Harlem youths video cameras and notebooks, allowing them to produce these nine stories of their lives. The personal stories of hardworking students, single mothers, young offenders and hip-hop dreamers show vibr ant, strong young people alive in a tough New York inner city neighborhood. This Discovery Channel video was produced and directed by Jonathan Stack; written and co-produced by Williams.
