The Guggenheim building opened six months after the death of Frank Lloyd Wright - 17 years after it was originally comissioned. This story of the secret life of a museum uses letters from Wright and Guggenheim Museum curator Hilla Rebay, read by F. Murra y Abraham and Claire Bloom, to show the battle for Wrights design. Footage from the triumphant re-opening of the restored and extended museum is also included. Presented by Sir Richard Rogers; directed by Peter Lydon.
