The Commune of Paris was born in 1871, and for one week there was talk of the brotherhood of man and the end of bureaucracy and exploitation. This program focuses on the conditions that gave rise to the Commune, the Communards, and the brutal manner in w hich the rest of France put an end to the Commune.
