Excavations in Germany’s Teutoburg Forest have revealed the location of one of antiquity’s bloodiest battles. In 9 A.D. three Roman legions walked into an elaborate, well-planned ambush. This program uses computer graphics, evidence unearthed a t the site, interviews with specialists, and Roman historians’ texts to chart one of Rome’s major military disasters.
