Since the 1950’s, members of the Buddhist order founded by Nichidatsu Fujii have constructed over 70 shrines, known as Peace Pagodas, worldwide. This documentary follows the Japanese and American Buddhists who live at the first Peace Pagoda built in the United States, focusing on the community’s integration of spiritual values with social activism.
