In July 1930, the Lemon Grove, California, school board announced plans to set up a separate school for Mexican-American students. This program uses archival photos, dramatic reenactments, and interviews with former students to examine the events surroun ding the successful challenge by the Hispanic community in one of America’s earliest desegregation cases.
