Zaroohe Najarian survived the Armenian genocide of 1915, grew up in a Beruit orphanage, immigrated to the United States, ended her arranged marriage to wed her "true love", then survived his death to live as a single mother and seamstress into he r 90s - without losing her joy for living. Filmmaker Karina Epperlein chronicles the eventful life of an independent Armenian American woman in this program.
