In January of 1700 large sections of Oregon, Washington state and British Columbia were devastated by a massive subduction earthquake. Ghost forests, tidal wave debris, Native American tales and the diary of a shogun in Japan show the power of the 1700 e arthquake in the Cascadia Subduction Zone.
