Lorraine M. Wright and Wendy L. Watson of the Family Nursing Unit at the University of Calgary developed this series of videos for health care professionals assisting families experiencing illness. The healthy family of an adolescent with Crohn’s di sease is interviewed in this second program, demonstrating how to assess a family, the impact of the illness on the family as well as the impact of the family on the illness, and family systems assessment and intervention skills.
