This Spike Lee film combines archival film, home photographs and comments by Bill Cosby, Coretta Scott King, George Wallace, surviving family members and others to tell the stories of Denise McNair, Carole Robertson, Cynthia Wesley and Addie Mae Collins - four little girls whose lives were ended by the racially-motivated bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, on September 15, 1963.
