Witness to Hiroshima

As a seventeen year old soldier Keiji Tsuchiya witnessed the aftermath of the dropping of an atomic bomb on the city of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Through the watercolor paintings Tsuchiya made to record his memories those horrors, this film illustrate s his lifelong commitment to helping survivors. His efforts to preserve the horseshoe crab are also noted. Letterboxed. Filmmaker Kathy Sloane; interpreter Michele Mason.
