In 1950 the city of Los Angeles evicted 300 Mexican-American families from their homes in Chavez Ravine to make way for a low income housing development. Instead, through a series of political maneuvers, Dodger Stadium was built on the site. This film by Jordan Mechner uses photographs taken in 1949 by Don Normark and comments by people who lived there to recapture life in Chavez Ravine.
