Federal Bureau of Investigation agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully investigate crimes heavily tinged with the paranormal in this television series, a cult favorite. Mulder meets a member of a doomsday cult who says she knew Mulder in a previous life, and whom Scully believes is a delusional schizophrenic, in "The Field Where I Died". In "Sanguinarium" Mulder and Scully analyze deaths in a hospital plastic surgery unit, which may have ties to witchcraft. The background CSM, the cigarette s moking man who has plagued Mulder and Scully for years, is considered in "Musings of a Cigarette-Smoking Man". A deadly cancer-causing organism, a rock from Mars, Alex Krycek and Russian scientists keep Mulder and Scully busy in "Tunguska" ;. Each episode approximately 45 minutes.
