This British television series explores the heights of Victorian society by following the life of Lillie Langtry, socialite, actress and mistress to the Prince of Wales. On this disc: 5. Bertie - Lillie and the Prince of Wales begin their liaison. 6. Let Them Say - Crown Prince Rudolf of Austria attempts to come between Lillie and Bertie, but fails. Lillie retreats to the countryside with Arthur Jones after a cold public reception by Queen Victoria. 7. The Sailor Prince - Lillie becomes attracted to Bertie’s nephew, Prince Louis of Battenberg, but Bertie forbids their marriage. 8. Going On the Stage - after giving birth to her daughter Jeanne Marie, Lillie launches her career as an actress. Each episode approximately 51 minutes.
