When the deadly Ebola virus broke out in a remote region of Zaire in May 1995, only a film crew from Nova was permitted in with the medical team to the "hot zone". This video the four week battle against disease in Kikwit, through the Center for Disease Control laboratories exploration the illness and its causes, to a cautionary note on the possibility of a future Ebola mutation.
