Cafe owner Rene Artois tries to keep his wife, his mistresses, the French Resistance and the German Army safely satisfied in this British comedy series set in occupied France during World War II. Hitlers Last Heil - Germans and resistance groups have a go at blowing up Hitler, though the Hitler visiting Nouvion is actually a decoy. 76. Awful Wedded Wife - a lead shortage weakens the resistances portable radio so the gang tries to steal lead from the church roof. 77. Firing Squashed - different resistance groups squabble over the captive Hitler and Goering - actually Gruber and Von Strohm - and over Rene, but the fake Hitler escapes. 78. A Fishful of Francs - Von Strohm stuffs 10 million francs into a fish as a blackmail payoff the resistance, but the fish ends up on Flicks dinner plate. 79. Swan Song - emigration fever hits Nouvion as Edith and Rene are rescued by British troops, Leclerc and Madame Fanny flee to Paris with the cafe money and Gruber and Von Strohm try to escape to Spain.
