Beginning with a dramatization of what not to do in a counseling session, this video presents specific techniques for interviewing clients, utilizing Dr. Alan E. Ivey ’s research on micro-counseling. Listening, reflecting, questioning, expressing and interpreting skills, based in social-learning theory, are taught in separate segments.
